Great Modular Helmet with lots of features

Pros: Inexpensive modular helmet with a retractable sunshade feature that costs much more on other modular helmets. Stylish (IMO)
Cons: The retractable sunshade sort of blurs your vision at certain angles. According to the size chart I was a X-large, but the helmet fits a bit loose. A large would've fit more snug and that's what I like. |
Literally saved my life

I don't know if I just got lucky or what, but I never experienced any issue with my helmet and I had it a year+ (daily rider). I can't stand people that equate money spent with safety received... still I did question a helmet that cost less than $100. There was no reason to doubt this helmet. I crashed my bike when a cager decided to lock up his brakes mid lane change right in front of me. With nowhere to go I ended up dropping my bike going down hill, high-siding my bike, and landing straight on my helmet. It busted the vents on my helmet and otherwise beat it up the helmet pretty good. I didn't sustain any head or neck injuries. This helmet performed perfectly. Absolutely perfect. I would buy this helmet again in a heartbeat.
Drawback: it IS noisy and a bit heavy.
Conclusion: Saved my life, can't argue with a helmet that can do that. Great modular design is a huge plus. Pretty noisy. Ear plugs recommended on long rides. |

| Super graphics for the committed Christian who wants to display his faith. The modular style coupled with the internal flip down dark visor is a must for anyone who wears glasses. |
Gets the job done

| This helmet is a good helmet to buy if you are not sure if motorcycling is for you. The price is right, but if you end up wanting something for a longer term, there are better. The plastic insert that guides air from the vent onto the plastic face shield simply fell off in the first two weeks of use. It could be stuck back in, but still... There is not much venting for air either. |
